What are your options for shipping?

There will be 3 options this year.

  1. Stardard shipping $25 (our tubers easily last across Canada with this shipping) Shipping begins April 2025

  2. Express post $35 (this is if you would like to get them a bit sooner on the west coast, it is not a must) Shipping begins April 2025

  3. Pickup on our farm at 8924 Highway 3, Pleasant Lake, Nova Scotia, in May 2026 (you will receive an email with pick up dates in the spring) 

       WE ONLY SHIP WITHIN CANADA

Can I combine shipping on multiple orders?

We will combine the shipping costs for multiple orders placed under the same name and address. Our website does not allow us to do this automatically. We ask you check out with the "combine orders" option in the shipping.

What do you do to prevent disease?

All tubers we purchase new are planted in a different section of our garden to make sure they do not have gall before we add them to our other stock. Ones we receive new that we are sceptical about, we plant in pots for the season far away from the others. We make sure to rotate crops each year to help prevent the spread of disease through soil. We sterilize our tools on a regular basis by washing them with soapy water and dipping them in bleach.

Will you be selling tubers at your farm in the spring?

We will be having a tuber sale at our farm in May 2026 if you would rather shop in person. I will send an email out and post on social media with exact dates closer to the time.

What is your Return Policy?

We will not be refunding tubers this year. We will however give customers a store credit for future purchases if there is an issue. Tubers will be pre sprouted, which means they will have a growing sprout when shipped. If that sprout brakes off when in transit, please don't worry, it will grow back! We ask that customers please let us know of any issues that may arise within 72 hours of receiving your package.

What happens if I have to cancel my order?

You are more then welcome to cancel your order until April 1st, 2026. We do however have a 30% restock fee of a customers total order.

What happens if my package is sent back or I send my package back?

The customer is responsible for the shipping of the package. We are not at fault for packages that are not able to be delivered by the postal service. If a customer needs to send a package back to us for any reason, they are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back.

Why do you sell dahlia tubers?

Our goal is to share these beautiful flowers with many people across Canada.
